CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL
The children are finishing up an Interfaith-themed unit, to tie in with the adult One Read book, “The Faith Club.” During the month of January, the kids learned a little bit about the similarities and differences of Christianity, Judaism and Islam. One of the interesting facts covered was that all three of these religions trace their roots back to Abraham.
On February 14th, the children will begin a new unit on Rebekah, from the Old Testament. The main idea, as presented in the curriculum: “Rebekah was a strong and determined woman who was chosen by God. God chooses us, as God chose Rebekah. Like Rebekah, we can show hospitality and kindness to others. God gives us opportunities to serve, and we can recognize these opportunities.” Please be watching for the sign-up sheet, so you can volunteer to help lead a session of this unit. We appreciate your help!

Children are welcome in worship at Peace UCC. We know that children learn to worship by being part of the worshipping community. We rejoice that so many children enliven our worship! Each Sunday the children are invited to join the minister for a "children's time". We are reading through the Bible together, using the "Read and Learn" Bible.
